MATT OSADA

With over two decades of experience in custom home building, Matt has curated a team of skilled managers and craftsmen who share and execute his vision with dedication. He prioritizes treating each client with respect, appreciation, and unwavering integrity. Having been a resident of WNC since childhood, Matt has cultivated strong relationships with the region’s top vendors and craftsmen. He holds degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from NC State University and gained valuable experience in commercial construction before transitioning to a large residential developer and custom home builder. In 2008, amidst an economic downturn, Matt took the leap to establish Osada Construction. Starting with hands-on involvement in remodels and new construction, he officially founded the company in 2010. Outside of work, Matt cherishes spending time with his wife and two children and pursuing his passions for mountain biking, fly fishing, backpacking, and spectating baseball games. You might even catch him at one of your favorite restaurants as he enjoys the culinary culture of Asheville.

ROBI ECKLEY

With two decades of experience in corporate management in the building industry, Robi brings a natural flair for leadership and a forward-thinking approach to the team. Hailing from WNC and having grown up in Hendersonville, the mountains have always been his true home despite living in various places such as Florida, the South Carolina low country, and Japan before settling permanently in Asheville in 2009. During his time at Clemson, he studied marketing and was an athletic trainer. Robi served in the US Marine Corps from 1999-2004, completing multiple deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon returning home, he embarked on a corporate career with a Fortune 500 company in the building distribution channel. It was during this time that he crossed paths with Matt Osada. Among all the builders he encountered, Matt was the only one Robi felt confident partnering with, and together, they built multiple spec homes as investment properties. While officially joining the Osada team in 2017, Robi had been contributing since 2015, focusing on developing systems processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. Robi’s dedication to clients is evident as he actively engages behind the scenes in each project, adhering to the Osada process while also exploring new business opportunities. Beyond his professional endeavors, Robi enjoys spending quality time with his family and indulging his passion for adventurous moto journeys.

CORY WAX

Cory, an Asheville native, joined Osada during its early stages, contributing to the company’s growth. Following an internship with another construction firm and earning dual degrees in Building Science and Appropriate Technology (Renewable Energy) from Appalachian State University, Cory swiftly applied his expertise, significantly influencing Osada Construction’s culture and reputation. His dedication to renewable energy and green building has led to Osada homes outperforming others in certifications. This commitment has positioned us as industry leaders and innovators, with each home certified as either Energy Star or Green Built. As an outdoor enthusiast, Cory is often found biking, hiking, camping, or fishing, ensuring his work aligns with his sustainability goals and protects the environment he deeply cares about.
